Paulo is one of those individual visual artists that spends most of his time trying to figure out what, how & when the next story should be created. His inspiration is driven by moments, techniques, emotions and situations that help create a narrative. A simple storyteller that uses monochromatic compositions to create emotions. The exploration of shape and form are always a constant on his work. The beauty lies in the viewers interpretation as multiple narratives can be created out of one composition.
It’s all up to our own interpretation as the brain fills in the blanks with preconceived patterns – this are not real hands – nor faces or objects around the canvas, yet we can depict was has been presented, join the dots and create our own story and that is his motivation.
As a traditional artist, I have always searched for meaning and inspiration in nature and in the comings and goings of my surroundings. I thrive on the thrill that creativity provides me and the blank canvas offers an insight into the unknown which propels me forward.
Digital design has allowed me to expand into new areas of creative scope, one which blends the soul with the machine.
Whether it be through words, paint, pen, ink, paper, screen or lens, the creative outcome being the same everytime. A journey has come to be, one of discovery and individualism, of which I hold proud and dear.
Easy going, friendly and curious, Chloé bring us into her imagination by seeking contrasts across several elements.
Her artwork is made by genuine drawings, collages & colourful graphic compositions.
From the original product, she created a set of five unique characters, spotlighting history and values.
Tim Christinat is a Sydney based designer and artist working all over the nation on many creative initiatives!
He began drawing at a very young age, and began painting in 2011 completing one of his all time favourite pieces ‘Marcel’ a tribute to his Grandfather which now graces the wall of his living room.
Tim likes to experiment with acrylic paint and other mediums, using colourful palettes and bold strokes, he paints out of inspiration and his art always gives a positive feel. In the last couple of years he has explored live paintings; working with an audience, time frames and wet paint has been a great challenge but has pushed the limits of his art.
Vicki is an illustrator and graphic designer from the UK now living on the Northern Beaches. After completing her BA in illustration she spent some years freelancing until 2016 when she began to pursue her career as a graphic designer.
Her drawings are influenced by the world around her taking inspiration from nature and the infinite patterns and textures she translates into her illustrations. Her favourite subjects are underwater creatures and plant life which is often executed with pen and ink. She uses minimal colour palettes preferring to focus on her clean line work and intricate details.
Nikki is a South Coast based designer/photographer and artist. Living and working so close to the ocean, Nikki is hugely influenced and inspired by the colours and motion of the sea, as well textures, sounds and even the smell of her salty surroundings. She even transitioned from painting to drawing so she could sit on the beach and work whilst watching her daughters while they were surfing.
Putting pen to paper is a therapy for Nikki. After spending all week in front of a screen or behind a camera, illustration is her way of telling a story the way she wants to.
